Alice & Zoe – Bristol Wedding
This one is a little closer to home, as Alice is my wife’s cousin and finally seeing these two amazing humans get married was a highlight of 2023, which was full of hugs and utter joy.
Plus, as a Devon reportage wedding photographer, this was a dream wedding to work on…..you’ll see why in a minute!
Zoe owning every inch the colourful bride to be with her gold loafers, pink bow tie (plus matching socks) and green suit on this glorious sunny June day.
Alice looking incredible in her wedding gown, which worked so well with the bright and summery wedding bouquets and then into a sparkly trouser number when the dancing began!
After saying their I Do’s in the Corn Street Registry Office, family and friends spilled onto the street with arms open wide and smiles as big as you could, handing out their congratulations to the happy couple.
When you have your reception in the Village Hall, I think this keeps everything relaxed and informal, which is exactly what Alice and Zoe wanted. Having Alice & Zoe’s Mums’ each give a speech was very touching but also gave plenty of laughs!
Speaking of laughs, I absolutely loved the bouncy castle (and no I didn’t venture on it sadly) capturing everyone (kids and adults!) having fun there from sunshine to sundown. And that’s what this wedding was all about, having fun and to have a good time!
The day ended with an epic sunset among the hay fields and finding a quiet moment or two for them to reflect on the day so far. Something that I encourage all of my couples to do.
