Frequently asked questions

Absolutely! I love to meet couples over a coffee (or beer if it’s the evening) to chat things through. If you’re a bit further afield then I always recommend at least a chat over Zoom before you book.

As far as you need! I’m based in Devon so a lot of my work is the South West UK but I photograph weddings all over the country and abroad. My prices include all travel within the UK (excluding overnight hotel if needed) but not international travel.

No two weddings are the same and each can vary in loads of ways so I can’t promise a definite maximum number of photos.  For a full day of wedding photography I promise at least 400 images (that number varies for shorter weddings/elopements etc)

Of course! My main love when photographing a wedding is to let it all happen naturally but of course those family photos are super important. It can often be one of the few times when everyone is all in one place so it can mean a lot to a lot of people. I advise trying to limit the maximum number of group photos to between 5 and 10 to make sure the day keeps flowing. Also it really helps if you designate a grooms-man or bridesmaid as people wrangler to make sure the people you want are where they need to be!

All your photos are delivered on a private web gallery with a unique PIN number to control who downloads them. You can share them with as many people as you like but only people with the PIN can download the photos.

I shoot the whole day with two cameras (both Fuji XT3s) to make sure I have full creative control in the moment without having to constantly swap kit from my bag.

As the photographer I will retain the copyright to all images but you will receive full printing rights and unlimited download access.

Of course you can! I work with the amazing team at Folio to create handcrafted wedding albums using the best materials that will become a real family heirloom.

I can shoot your wedding when and where-ever you need me!

Absolutely! If you drop me a line through my CONTACT page then I can send you a link to a full wedding album to have a look at.

Ensuring your peace of mind is one of the most important parts of my job so I’m covered by full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

It can depend on how busy I am with other weddings at the time but I aim to deliver your full wedding collection within 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding (this can alter during peak season).

Photographing the full wedding day from start to finish is my real love so I often find myself at a wedding for over 12 hours. I like to arrive as hair and make-up are getting started and will stay on the dancefloor with you all well into the chaos.

Being trusted to come through on the day is a hefty responsibility. I’m a member of multiple professional wedding photographer groups and emergency cover groups to make sure if whatever reason I can’t make it on the day then you will be safe knowing someone else equally as professional will be on hand to cover everything. This has never been a problem for me but I have covered for other people.

I’ll never say no to a nice meal but it’s not expected for you to feed me. I always bring an emergency sandwich just in case as it can be a very long day with nothing to eat!
