Georgia & Jazz – Bantham Beach Wedding

When you’re invited to the beach at the start of a wedding morning, alongside fellow wedding guests, who am I to say no (wooly hat optional). If only I hadn’t forgotten my trunks! I had hopefully assumed the swim wouldn’t be too far offshore but once I got to Bantham and saw the very shallow water I knew my shorts and shirt were going to get wet! So imagine, if you can, me in my shorts, t-shirt and shirt up to my chest holding a camera above my head to get these shots!
Georgia and Jazz started their wedding morning with a sea swim, right here in Devon. I do believe this set the tone for the full festival party vibes, which continued to the late hours busting moves on the dance floor, complete with festival glitter!
There’s something really special about an outdoor wedding, surrounded by fields and having friends and family help with the set up and preparations. Who else could have a better job than to stock up the wheelbarrow with wine.
The attention to detail that Georgia and Jazz put into their table decor, detailed seating plan on an actual surfboard! Still tacky from the surf wax and all the more authentic for it.
Colourful florals dotted all over the ceremony area and wedding breakfast tables and even in the brides hair. This couple is not afraid of colour! Take a look at the cake!
Designed with the love of being under the stars and camping, how amazing it was to see this transferred onto their wedding cake. Thankfully the rain managed to stay away until after the ceremony but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, they were there to party!
Injecting your own personality into your wedding is super important and every couple should do this! It’s your wedding and you should do it your way.
How it all began!
They met on Tinder and spent their first date in a pub, but unbeknown to them, they’re paths had crossed many years before through mutual friends.
When lockdown hit, they fast forwarded a little in their plans with co living sooner than they anticipated and thank goodness, it all worked out!
When and where did you get engaged?
During a 2 week campervanning holiday in the Outer Hebrides sleeping among the stars and beach camping couldn’t have been a more romantic proposal setting for them.
