Lorna & John
There’s something really beautiful about an elopement.
Even before 2020, I loved capturing this style of intimate wedding. Just me, the couple and a celebrant (maybe even their dog would come along) felt so special.
In the world of weddings, elopements have become a rising trend, offering couples a more intimate and personal way to say “I do.” As a Devon and Cornwall Wedding Photographer, we have many spots to choose from for the kind of wedding you want.
As a Devon wedding photographer, capturing the essence of these private ceremonies requires a unique set of skills and a keen eye for detail.
Before we met, I was keen to take the time to connect with the couple and understand their vision for the elopement so that I can tell their story in the most intimate of detail.
Elopement photography is an art that goes beyond capturing images; it’s about telling a love story in its purest form. By understanding the couple’s vision, embracing spontaneity, and mastering the technical aspects, I really loved creating this collection of images that document their day, in their own way.
Lorna and John and little Jonah got ready together at Lower Barns, some traditions are not for every couple, and this is why I enjoy my job so much. Every wedding, every couple is unique.
So, let’s dive into the images and begin the story of Lorna and John’s wedding day, along with baby Jonah wearing the smartest of bow ties!
If you’re considering an elopement wedding or a small intimate wedding then I’d love to be there to photograph it all.
Drop me a message or book in a consultation so you can tell me all about it and let’s get this show on the road!
