Wow! This was the wedding parties of all wedding parties at Rockbeare Manor in Exeter. Megan and Josh threw the most epic Winter wedding and if you’re still on the fence of having your wedding in this season, then take a look at this one!
Rockbeare Manor is nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside, surrounded by rolling fields and with exclusive use of the whole venue, you’re not going to be disappointed.
Candlelight, Christmas Trees, Sparklers & Shots, plenty of shots!
Megan & Josh looked after every single one of their guests with amazing food, music and drinks. THE perfect combination for a Christmas wedding (well it was 4 days before Christmas) and everyone was ready to party!
Christmas was sprinkled around every element of the wedding day, with the beautiful tree as the backdrop in the reception and dancefloor area. Along with baubles galore (they even had their own bauble) and festive floral arrangements including a sprig of mistletoe to steel those kisses.
From the word go, Megan and Josh decided the vibe of their wedding celebration and that was to ensure everyone had the best time. The weather was kind to us, but we made contingency a plan should the weather turn for portraits after the ceremony.
Trusting your photographer and having a conversation about plan A and plan B for your portraits is important (and also how I work with my couples). Rockbeare Manor has the most beautiful grounds and the house itself was amazing for light and plenty of spots to take pictures (should the weather have not been in our favour).

I first met Megan & Josh when they were guests at another wedding and then again when Megan was maid of honour for another one of my brides. Getting to spend the day with them and all of their guests again was an absolute treat. Thank you Megan & Josh, it was epic!
